EATON TERRACE HOSTS HUD’S DEPUTY SECRETARY SIMS
On Thursday, July 29, 2010, Eaton Terrace Residences hosted a celebration of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that simplifies the weatherization grant application process for multifamily housing owners. Ron Sims, Deputy Secretary of HUD; Dr. Kristina M. Johnson, Under Secretary of the DOE; and Rick Garcia, Regional Administrator of HUD’s Region VIII, held two Weatherization Roundtables - the first for community development corporations and small and minority-owned businesses; the second for multifamily housing owners, housing authorities officials and congressional staffers.
